Oh, yes, it's spring alright! The world is changing colors and the air is sweeter. For this is the moment Stan took to smell the flowers. Ok, maybe this one is not a native one, but still a beautiful flower ! :) Enjoy this moment Stan, and soon you'll dive right into the hot summer breeze!

From Sea to Sea

As his stay in Romania is going to end soon, Stan decided to go to the seaside for the week-end. In the first sunny and warm week-end after a really long winter he joined me to a divers gathering in Constanta on the Black Sea Coast. He was really interested, but decided not to go into the 5 degrees cold water and just laid down in the sun thinking that maybe someday he will go south to dive in warmer waters. Now he will wait for the next flight to Belgium to go home and plan his next trip. It was very nice having him here. Happy bubbles Stan!

Stan's Time

Stan decided to face the time rather than being under it. And I think he found his time. It's his time now. He only has to find his space. But, untill then, he will hang a few more days on my wall. I wish the wall was blue, so he would have been like immersed in blue water. Although sometimes he might look like sky diving or flying, I'm pretty sure that he is just diving. Not in a hurry, he takes his time to discover the world around. He will have a long journey, lots of things to discover. He will have a good time.

Same city, different home

It seems that Stan really likes Bucharest and he decided to stay for a while. He went just a few kilometers up North and found a new home. I don't know if it is the Romanian way of life that made him stay, or the Romanian women that he already met, but I'm happy to accomodate him for a few weeks to come. As he is by now an experienced traveler, I decided to let him choose his place in here. A day here, a few hours there, he moves around my home looking for the perfect place to hang out.

about Stan

Well, for starters, he's inspiring. When I look at the painting I think that Stan is either immersed in a blue water or imponderable in a blue sky. Either way, he is indeed without a land... But maybe he doesn't need a land ...or he doesn't want one, but rather something else. Like in a wandering dream, there's nothing to hold him down, nothing that would tie him down. He's suspended in time and space. He's like a traveller, but a traveller in different worlds. He belongs somewhere for sure and for finding that place his journey must continue. Still, I will hold him back a few more days!!!

How is Stan?

Well, for one day Stan changed his white background for a familiar framework. This is maybe because in such a place he came to life. It is true, however, that in a bigger one.

Stan in Bucharest

It’s been already a week since Stan left Belgium for Romania. And after a long journey he found for himself a new land. The first days here were busy and even though at first he seemed a bit confused, lonely hanging on the wall, now he’s watching the days go by in the tranquility and comfort of a new home. Mine!
He’s floating around on a white wall...and he will float until one day, when he will find a perfect place to stay. Everything is new, different I might say, but even if he’s far away, the sky is the same...in a relative way.
I’m glad to have him here for a while.
